In terms of true ATV adventure, the Bar 10 is hard to beat  -- constantly in view of the unparalleled beauty and ruggedness of America's preeminent gorge  -- the 217-mile-long, 6250-foot-deep rip in the earth that exposes hundreds of millions of years of geological erosion! Tours vary in length from 1 ½ hours to full day tours, and take you to some of the most astounding sites on earth!

HIKING

See the Grand Canyon from the top , or hike into the Canyon and experience it from the bottom looking up. Learn about this unique geology that formed over eons of time; visit petroglyphs and cliff dwellings of Anaszi Indians who inhabited this area thousands of years ago; and view remarkable overlooks of this high desert terrain, the Grand Canyon, and astonishing tributary canyons.

HORSEBACK RIDES

Enjoy short trail rides near the lodge, or experience extended trail rides which take you to secluded, remote, rarely visited areas near the Grand Canyon. Lengths vary from 30 minutes to half day rides, and you can stay multiple days at the ranch.

RIVER RAFTING

We’re your one-stop-shopping for an adventure of a lifetime through the Grandest Canyon of the Colorado River. Experience the massive walls that expose eons of natural history, thunderous waterfalls, and hikes that lead you to streams, pools, green fern glens and ancient Anasazi ruins. Experience the excitement, serenity, joy and enchanted beauty of the river as it transforms this immense chasm and those who venture through it. Most River Rafting Adventures include a six minute helicopter flight between the Colorado River and the Bar 10 Ranch. Prepare for a thrilling flight as seasoned pilots skillfully navigate the helicopter from river to rim for a breath-taking view of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River. We book for all companies rafting through the Grand Canyon. Call early to book this one, as availability is limited. April through September.

Evening entertainment varies from casual camaraderie around a campfire, to a full-blown boot-stompin' country program with singing, dancing, and trick roping, starring the Bar 10 guys and gals.

RANCHING ACTIVITIES

Learn to rope & ride with the Bar 10 Cowboys! Hear tall tales, and colorful history of ranchers, settlers, and outlaws who inhabited and hid out in this unforgiving land. Learn how the Cowboy tamed this area, and experience how the wild west once was on the Arizona Strip!  

Observe an experienced cowboy as he trains a young horse and teaches you to saddle and ride.

FREE TIME ACTIVITIES

There’s plenty of relaxation or a variety of activities during free time.

Hike to hilltop views of this expansive valley. Challenge friends to a game of billiards or table tennis.

Play a game of volleyball. Throw some horse shoes, or simply relax in the shade with a good book, good company, or solitary thoughts.

The secluded setting adds an uncommon ambiance of quietude and reflection. Numerous activities are also available if you wish. We can customize your itinerary to include any or all of the activities mentioned above: ATV Rides; Horseback Rides; River Rafting; Helicopter Tours; Entertainment; Ranch Activities; etc. We can also provide specialty activities such as a wagon trek, team building activities, rock climbing, repelling, line dancing instruction, or horse training demonstrations and/or instruction.
